Which countries are the most dangerous countries in the world? Since 2007, the Global Peace Index (GPI) has been published by the Institute for Economics and Peace; a research group that develops methods to analyze peace and measure its economic value.
According to the GPI, which is supervised by a group of experts, each country is evaluated by the Economist analysts Intelligence Unit on the basis of qualitative qualities.
Based on 23 qualitative and quantitative criteria that are divided into three categories, the study evaluates the peacefulness of 162 countries:
- Continuing national and international conflicts include deaths caused by organized wars, as well as interactions with neighboring countries.
- Political instability, violent crime, and the jail population all fall under the area of social security.
- Finally, the militarization category covers both access to weapons and arms imports and exports.

10. Russia
