After understanding this, the next thing to do is create an MTN share and sell security code; this code allows you to make share n sell transactions as well as serves to protect you from hackers.
- The first thing to do is to think of a new security code. Do not use something generic like 0000 or 1234, instead, try to think outside the box or make it as complex as possible, for example, 9410.
- Secondly, send the new code to 777 in the following format; “the default pin comes first, followed by repeating the new pin twice, that is; 0000 9410 9410”, where 0000 is the default pin given to you by the network. This should be sent to 777.
- Lastly, wait for confirmation.
You can also simply dial *600*0000*9410*9410#, where 9410 is your new pin.
Now that you have subscribed to MTN share n sell, there are a number of things that you can do, like transfer airtime from your MTN line to another MTN line or to other networks by dialing codes.
